Next time you have a craving for sweets, try making this tasty recipe.
It's nutritious, fudgy, and will give you a great poop - and that's what it's all about, am I right? 🤷🏻♀️
1x 15oz can of black beans, drained and rinsed well
1/2 cup + 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips
1/4 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup natural almond or peanut butter
2 tbsp freshly ground flax seeds
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp baking soda
Pinch of salt
Melt the ½ cup of chocolate chips in a double boiler
Add the beans, melted chocolate and remaining ingredients to a food processor
Process until smooth; you may need to scrape down the sides a few times
Fold in the remaining ¼ cup of chocolate chips
Chill the dough for 1 hour in the fridge
Pre-heat the oven to 350F
Roll the dough into golfball-sized balls and slightly flatten them between your hands to create a “cookie” shape
Bake for 10 to 12 minutes; they will still be soft but will firm up
