Black Bean Chocolate Cookies

Next time you have a craving for sweets, try making this tasty recipe.

It's nutritious, fudgy, and will give you a great poop - and that's what it's all about, am I right🤷🏻‍♀️


  • 1x 15oz can of black beans, drained and rinsed well

  • 1/2 cup + 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips

  • 1/4 cup maple syrup

  • 1/4 cup natural almond or peanut butter

  • 2 tbsp freshly ground flax seeds

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1/2 tsp baking soda

  • Pinch of salt


  • Melt the ½ cup of chocolate chips in a double boiler

  • Add the beans, melted chocolate and remaining ingredients to a food processor

  • Process until smooth; you may need to scrape down the sides a few times

  • Fold in the remaining ¼ cup of chocolate chips

  • Chill the dough for 1 hour in the fridge

  • Pre-heat the oven to 350F

  • Roll the dough into golfball-sized balls and slightly flatten them between your hands to create a “cookie” shape

  • Bake for 10 to 12 minutes; they will still be soft but will firm up

  • Enjoy!
