Cilantro Honey Lime Salmon

Not really in the mood to cook tonight? Try this simple, easy, and tasty Salmon recipe.

The great thing about this recipe is, you can throw on some asparagus (or whatever veggie you like) on to the pan and you got yourself a complete delicious, easy dinner!


  • 4 oz salmon fillet

  • 1/3 + 1/4 cup of freshly chopped cilantro, divided

  • Juice of one lime

  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced

  • 1 red chilli pepper, chopped, seeds removed (optional)

  • 1 tbsp of honey (optional)

  • Pinch of salt


  • Preheat oven to 350 F

  • Place all ingredients in a ziplock bag

  • Marinate in the fridge for 30 minutes

  • Discard the marinade

  • Place the salmon in a cast iron pan or on a baking sheet (optionally with a vegetable like asparagus)

  • Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until slightly browned and flakey
